Way better than the coffee at our house." It's been working pretty solid; we make 1 to 2 pots almost every day. I've had this coffee maker for at least 5 years now, and it's great. My Mom has had all of the super fancy coffee makers, and she was over the other day and said "WOW, this coffee is GREAT. The only issue is that there is a plastic tube thing on the drip that can cause the water to back off; we just removed it and everything works great. If you just want a basic and reliable coffee maker you've found it.
While this coffee maker makes a good cup of coffee, it has no automatic turnoff. As a result, if you forget to turn the heating element off before you leave the house, your best possible scenario is a house filled with the odor of burnt coffee when you return - the worst is returning to your house burning. This is inexcusable in this day and age.
this coffeemaker makes very good coffee but i wish the design was better - the gadget that makes the coffee stop and release just hangs in the back and if you hit it the wrong way it could fall and the opening of the pot is so small to fit your hand in to wash - also you have to hold the pot just right when you pour or it spills
It is really the worst coffee maker I had. It is too slow, the automatic stopper always breakes and the coffee pot is useless, because you can not pour in a cup without making a mess
This unit makes quite good coffee and the design is very attractive. However cleaning it is very time consuming and frustrating.
